FSC is an international, non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting responsible management of the world's forests. It was founded in 1993 in response to public concern about deforestation and demand for a trustworthy wood-labelling scheme. There are national working groups more than 50 countries including the UK. FSC UK is a registered charity. It is supported by NGOs including WWF, Greenpeace and the Woodland Trust.

Proofing both hard copy and pdf solutions
When it comes to proofing our boys really know their stuff. Our hard copy proofs are output to Fogra standards, and our ICC profiles are calibrated to our printing presses to ensure that the proof that you receive is as near as we can get to a true representation of the final product. We understand that it is not always possible or practical to produce a hard copy proof for sign off prior to printing, in this instance we will always produce a high resolution PDF for you to check content or any amendments that may have been requested.
Litho & Digital Printing facilities
Our print production facility consists of an enviable array of both litho and digital printing presses. We have 2 x Mitsubishi B2 litho presses, in both 5 colour and 6 colour configurations, each press is equipped with a colour management desk plus a dedicated coating unit, both of which ensure that your work is printed to the highest standards. The colour management desk ensures continuity throughout the print run by constantly monitoring the colour density of all the colours which are set during the initial make-ready process, any subtle adjustments to colour balance are made automatically by the colour desk. Our dedicated coating unit's apply an environmentally friendly aqueous coating on top of the wet inks, the sheets are almost dry to the touch when they leave the printing press due to the unique inline drying unit built into each press. There are 2 main advantages to using this process, the first being increased productivity as there is little or no time waiting for the freshly printed sheets to dry, and second advantage is the reduced possibility of marking during the additional print finishing processes.
